What Happens In Vegas Doesn’t Necessarily Stay in Vegas

My first trip to Vegas earlier this month was everything that I anticipated. Lively, interesting, delicious, entertaining and very HOT!

Who goes to Vegas in the middle of August when temps are expected to be approximately 108°F.  Apparently a ton of people besides my Shaklee family. The city was buzzing.

A big shout out to Shaklee for choosing Caesars Palace for this year’s Global Convention.  IT was lovely!

After we settled into our rooms, which were spacious and beautiful, Rob took me off the strip to the old part of Vegas. We had an amazing meal at Vegenation. OMG. The best vegan food I have ever eaten.  No wonder it was recommended by our lift driver and the locals.  It’s known as the best vegan food in the city.

Rob was actually convinced he was eating chicken since he just assumed they purposely had a couple of menu options for those that weren’t vegan.

He missed this section of the menu…..HAHA.  I didn’t break the news till after he was done eating. Dessert was amazing too…chocolate brownie of course! After dinner we explored the city…As the old saying goes...”everything goes in Vegas!”  

As you can see, I am pretty dang excited for our first day of meetings! And as expected, it was everything I imagined.

I love our CEO’s energy! His passion and love for Shaklee is contagious and we are so fortunate to have this multi-billionaire as our owner.

It was a great day! Shaklee introduced 9 new products! Lets start with our new and updated Life Shake. What I love most about this company is their continued commitment to make the best and most natural products in the United States. As science continues to evolve, so does our products!

The Shaklee Scientists did it again! They updated our all ready great protein shake and made it even better.  It now has 20 grams of protein and zero grams of sugar! You gotta try this stuff! The best part, it’s available in both Soy and Plant Based. That may sound confusing since soy is also plant based but our new non-soy is named Plant Based since that is what many are customers are looking for.

Last but not least, Shaklee added to their ever so popular YOUTH line that was introduced last year.I fell in love with our anti-aging line but for those who are looking for more hydration….you’re in luck!  We now have a NEW hydration line. As you can see, we had a jam-packed first day! Rob had made reservations at a near by French Restaurant which was with-in walking distance. Even though it was 106°F we were both up for a fast walk. Dinner was amazing and after we took in a one of the funniest new shows in Vegas. It was a GREAT night.

Every year Shaklee holds a 5K race for Shaklee cares but due to some bothersome sore on the ball of my foot, I didn’t participate in the race. Rob and I did find the gym bright and every morning . So as the old saying also goes, who sleeps in Vegas? We had some late nights and early mornings but the trip was a HUGE success!

Our last night in Vegas was probably the highlight of the trip…although I did love everything! Rob took me to the only Chinese Restaurant to make the Michelin List…we’re foodies so this is impressive to us. It was definitely some of the best Asian food I have had since we visited Beijing a few years ago. The dumplings were probably my favorite part of the meal but the entire meal was incredible, including the wine list!

To top it off, Shaklee reserved the ever so popular and exclusive OMNIA nightclub. I have no idea how Shaklee is going to top this next year but I sure am excited to find out.

Are you a Vegas Fan? It’s definitley an interesting city. My verdict is still out but it’s a great place to hold a convention. And the food is good.
