Meet Karen

I was born and raised in Hutchinson, MN and believe it or not, I am still here!  After graduating from St Olaf College with a degree in Chemistry I headed back to my home town to start a Chem job which I loved.  10 years later however, I discovered Shaklee.  I left the corporate world to build my Shaklee business and have never looked back.  I love my job and the lifestyle it has given me.  After being single for most of my adult life, I finally “ran” into the love of life.  I’ve been running since my teens, over 4 decades, so it’s no surprise I married a runner.  I met my husband in 2007 and we were married in 2009.

I am so lucky to have some one in my life who supports my crazy running life, goes nuts over my cooking, and most of all, adores me.  Since being married we have had a lot of fun running and eating in different parts of our world.

Avocado runners is a place for me to share some of my running highlights, delicious and healthy food, and other things I love.  ENJOY!
